Release Disney+
(2020-05-13, 03:51)matthuisman Wrote: looks like the error is:
CMMALVideo::dec_control_port_cb Error (status=9 ECORRUPT)

I've never seen that before.

After googling that, i found:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=269296
https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/video-does-n...rtion/6629

Someone suggests trying to increase the GPU memory on  the Pi.
You could try that and let know?

Do you have a way to reliably make it crash?
Like a certain movie / show?

Did you get Play from Here working?
Seems to work fine for me on Windows.

Oh, and also try changing audio to AAC 2.0 and see if it crashes.
Thanks! I will look into these solutions.

It's not any one movie/show which causes the problem. It only happens if I let the content play to the very end of the credits. Then instead of returning to the Kodi interface or going on to the next item in the playlist it just freezes up and requires a hard reset to get back to the home screen. Also, I haven't seen this behavior from any local content or any other add-ons (Amaon VOD, Netflix, YouTube, etc).

Play from Here works in the sense that it adds all of the episodes to the playlist. It just fails to advance to the next one when the first one ends. Also, I noticed that it advances normally I manually skip to near the end of an episode. It only seems to happen if it has played most/all of an episode.

oh, I was testing by skipping to the end to see if it played the next one.
Strange the behaviour would differ depending on how long you've watched it.

The crashing may be related to this as well:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/17713
Not 100% though but seems without the above, changes of periods cause some issues, and there is about 6 very short periods at the end of lots of content for the credits.

Seems the issue shows up more on raspberry pi's.

Be interested to hear if the same happens on content without the Netflix style credits at the end.
Probably older movies may have a more simple period layout

By chance, have you considered adding integration with the Up Next add-on? It seems like this would be an effective workaround and also a handy feature.

Hello guys, sorry, probably it has been already asked, but i haven't found what i need using search function.
I have installed kodi on my notebook, and also this addons. Disney + works perfectly, but i can get only 720p resolution as best choice. i connect notebook to my FullHd monitor, so best resolution should be 1080p.
Any way to achieve this? I'm not very familiar with kodi, so whoever will answer will help me a lot.
Thanks

@Max88 See the "Features" section on the Disney+ About page. 720p is the highest quality available unless your device is an Android L1 device.

Pretty sure it has to do with frame rate switching.
Kodi does not like frame rate switching during Dolby Vision playback

Does it do it with Dolby vision turned off and hdr10 enabled?

If you turn off frame rate switching in kodi, is it OK?

that will be because that includes the PR (https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive/pull/451) that fixes the fps for HLS playlists.
The problem is still there I believe - but as Kodi is now switching to correct framerate before playback begins - the issue doesn't arise.

Also, that fix has just been backported to 18
So should land in 18.7

Can also download build of it here:
https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts
The above Leia build should be very nice and stable and work with everything nicely.

You need 2.4.5 for subtitles to work
It was just released a few hours ago.

I have a pull request for it to be updated in LibreELEC 9.2.2 here:
