Hi,

Each time I start a movie, then quit and come back all progress is lost and I have to manually search the position I was in the movie the last time I quit...

Obviously it's kind of annoying...

Anyone knows this bug? Or is it something I haven't done?

So the resume points are not stored in, or retrieved from, the video database.

Perhaps you can provide a debug log (wiki) from whever that is happening for a better insight in the things running on your Kodi box.

I've noticed that if I pause the film and shut down Kodi or the Xbox, then the resume point is lost, but if I stop the film before shutting down then it's saved.

I will try @Filmbuff 's suggestion as a workaround, and @Klojum yes I suspected it had to do with not writing some info... I will investigate

That is correct. There is no auto-save function for the current video.
