i upgraded to fritschfiretv version 18.9, but now the HD audio streams no longer work (I tested 2 DTS-HD MA files that play as normal DTS).
Could someone please remind me wich are the exact settings?"

Before post debug log i'd try to solve myself.
Probably i change some settings and i don't remember

FireTV 4K does not support DTS-HD MA, it never did. You will hear the DTS Core only. This did not change, it never was different. Only DTS-HD-HR is supported by its firmware.
I'm a bit confused.

With your latest build, how i can get HD audio (Pass-Thr or LPCM)? with which audio streams and with which settings?
Thanks

So I have a problem with the 4k Firestick running the latest version of Leia (18.8 I think).

How can I stop the artifacting?  it's really really bad.  It will sometimes be green and sometimes it will just kinda freeze the video feed for a second while the entire screen is artifiacted and then the video will resume.

It's really, really annoying.  Anyone have a fix?

My tv is a TCL 4k Roku smart tv, 65" with a sony 4k reciever hooked up with ARC

Thanks.

What media are you playing and what is the source of that media?

Unedited logs are also very useful (near vital) in helping diagnosis of these kind of issues.

I'll work on the logs, but it's just standard 1080p and 720p x264 video

Local USB storage, WiFi, Cabled Ethernet, NFS, SMB ?

Low bitrate x264 re-encodes or original h.264 rips from Blu-ray?

Interlaced TV or progressive?

It is standard encodes, medium bit rate, cable ethernet through the amazon adapter. progressive rips.  NFS from a NAS on a gigabit ethernet

I ignore all your posts, as long as you don't post a Debug Log.Check it myself:

They pipe it through their dolby dd+ encoder ... sad. With older firmware you could get LPCM if you chose Float as input, now they reencode it to DD+. Nothing we can do about it.

I thank you for your patience but .......

1) I don't know how to create a debug.log file, I have no keyboard or other accessories besides the Firestick remote control
2) you are assuming that everyone has the same preparation as you. I apologize but personally I did not understand anything you wrote or posted above.

Sorry.
Regards.

I infact assume that one can click on this link: Debug Log and follow the instructions. Yes, this is what I assume.

Though - as shown above - amazon seems to have changed the firmware. Now they also reencode Float multi channel under the hood to DD+ as shown in the log.

Yep, my 4K stick had to do a restart a few days ago which it hasn't done in a long time.

It's crazy that Amazon market a lossless HD Music service that their own Fire TV Sticks struggle to output in a lossless manner...

Can you try it? And provide and adb logcat output?

I can confirm.
I must use Heos instead Amazon music app of the Firestick to get full HD music
