Release Amazon VOD [plugin.video.amazon[vod|-test]]
Tried the plugin for the first time and thanks it is great to get high quality definition and surround sound on my TV box Running Android. The Google Play app for Android is so bad .

Just a bit confused the addon from the SandMann repo gave me many connection problems but the Paco8 works great. Why the difference?  Which is official?

Thanks

Official is Sandmann's. I've just using in my repo their latest version from master.

Not true. You can get 1920x1080 from the Shield TV quite happily (as per many posts in this forum, if anyone ever bothers to search).
You used to be able to get 4k too, but they changed something a while ago, and I've not been able to get higher than Full HD since.

As you say, I get a resolution of 1920x1080p, but a few days ago it had a resolution of 4K, I had to install Kdi Leia 18.9 again and now I don't know how to configure it to get that resolution. Thanks.

I don't quite know how much it ties into what the official app does, but I know there have been some recent updates to that, and every time the official app gets updated on the Shield, something seems to break one way or another...

Someone else may be able to add more specific advice on the settings, but I've tried everything and can't get more than Full HD either, and I'm fairly sure that once you've achieved that the settings are probably already right Undecided

It's fixed in my repository: repository.paco8-1.0.1.zip (for kodi 18). Notice that the packages in my repository include some other modifications on my own.
Thanks for this Paco8! It solved the problem I was having. What other modifications have you made in your repository?

The main change is the possibility to use improved subtitles as explained in this post.
I also added the option "Don't update cache" in Settings, PrimeVideo.

I cant get TriPanel view to stick.

I can select the TriPanel view and it works but if I leave the menu and return it defaults back to List.

I tried turning on and setting views in the settings menu but what ever I set them (even other then TriPanel) to it always reverts to list mode.

Am I missing something or is this feature not working?
