v18 thumbs up in default web ui's song list?
#1
Does anyone know what, if anything, the thumbs up does in the web ui? https://imgur.com/a/g1o7C1p (near the track time in the table)
I turned on debug logging and nothing get logged it seems when i click/unclick it, so I don't think kodi knows anything about it?
Is it purely frontend?

I wish I knew too. But alas can find nothing on the matter at all and it seems to do nothing. Not at all pleasing :-(

Posting an answer as this is the first Google hit on "kodi thumbs up" search and it didn't get any answers.
The answer is very simple, it is a favorites page. You can click on "thumbs up" on any album, tv show or movie (and possibly on even more things?) and they will all show up on that page.

Nothing simple about that at all. can you clarify what you mean? On the Chorus2 Web interface for example there is no Favourites page. There is a thumbs up icon in the left bar that links to /#thumbsup but does nothing. I can click it and go to the Kodi screen (using the Estuary skin) and open the favourites page and it just says No Favourites Found.

Very simple, to me, means I'd be tagging song I hear playing now as a favourite and then seeing it show up somewhere. As it stands I am still clueless as to how to do that with Chorus2 (the default web UI).
