Win Matrix V19 - Crash trying to play mp4 streams from TWiT.tv
#1
Or is it just me? I only have one Windows PC to test with.

I'm working on a Matrix update for the TWiT add-on and have it just about finished but on my Windows PC the streams are causing Kodi to become unresponsive. Sometimes the stream will start for a few seconds but usually they don't even start.

Here is a playable url you can put in a strm file or whatever >

These streams are still failing with 19.1. They will play for a few seconds then the buffer dialog pops up showing 100 and it stops playing with the log showing > INFO <general>: CVideoPlayerAudio:Tonguerocess - stream stalled
From there trying to stop the video results in Kodi becoming unresponsive.

Can anyone help with getting this looked into?

Code:

I'm not a codec/ffmpeg expert but this seems to indicate either ffmpeg bug or broken file.
Do you get the same result if you disable hardware decoding (dxva) ?

Yes, same result with hardware acceleration disabled and render method set to software.
