LAN Access with VPN
#1
Nvidia Shield - Kodi 19.1 - CyberGhost VPN.
My HDD is attached via usb to the router. In Kodi, without VPN I can reach everything on this drive. With VPN on, it cannot see anything as I guess there is a different IP range.
Anything I can do within Kodi? I can't see anything within this VPN although IPVanish had a special "Allow LAN Access" button in its settings.

We have a VPN policy (wiki) on this forum. In short, Kodi works just fine without a VPN. If your VPN creates a problem, go ask your VPN provider. You paid them, so they might as well provide support.

Thread moved to off-topic, as VPNs and any breakages that using them causes are not down to us and not supported, as mentioned above.

See the policy already indicated for details.
