v19 Watched/unwatched indicators. How to turn on?
#1
Good time of the day!
I installed kodi 19 (matrix) and AppTV skin.
Before that, there was the previous version of Kodi. In it, on the same skin, unviewed files had an "*" (asterisk) icon.
now installed AppTV 1.7.0 (and updated to version 1.7.5) but this icon did not appear. Where and what needs to be done to make it appear?
I tried several skins (some have such an icon) but I'm very used to AppTV .. Sad
So what's now?

@flexiss ,

Sorry for late reply, have been kind of busy. First of all have you tried other skins to see if they are also show or not show an overlay for watched status (AppTV shows a blue dot for unwatched, other skin usually show something for watched). There is no setting in Kodi or my skin to turn this on or off (other skins might turn it off or on). I’m tending to think that possibility your video database has lost this information (everything has been toggled as watched). One way to check in my skin would be to bring up a videos context menu and change the items watched status. If try changing the watched status in the context menu and don’t see a change to the overlay, my next suggestion might be that the skin has not updated cleanly. For that you will need to send me a FULL debug log so I can see what is happening. Shutdown Kodi, start it up again, head into the video library and scroll thru some of your videos, get out of video library and head over to the settings menu. Skin settings, Support, post debug log (make sure you have turned on full debug logging before restarting the Kodi session, otherwise there will not be enough details to help me see what’s going on). Post the link provided by the debug log script here so I can find the correct log file.

hope this helps

If required a FULL debug log can now be submitted from the skin in settings->skin settings->support. Or follow instructions here if you can't access skin settings.
