Req Kodi on LG Web OS
Hi
is there some kind of official or semi official web site where to find kodi releases for webos ?
i see many peoples posting releases but it is not easy to know if there are test releases or better ones
same question for your releases . I use one you provide me with a link and it is working fine but finally I don’t know where it is coming from or is the last one
Thanks
phil

Hi Phil, there is a repository that often changes the contents for the Alpha version, with related changes
https://jenkins.kodi.tv/job/webos-docker/
remember that they are APHA versions, and if you give feedback it will be appreciated

on which webOS version do you have Kodi installed?
I have compiled for myself pvr.hts-tvhead client add-on and tested on webOS: 3.5 and webOS: 4.9.7-14.

Hi im on webOS  5.4.3-36
@Pienoet
For which Kodi build/version should I compile the “pvr.hts-tvhead” client add-on for it? Kodi version is always in the second line of the kodi.log. Please post.

Im not gonna use kodi on my tv since it cant passtrough my HD audio formats.

Hi,
As far as I know, inputstream.adaptive, belongs to the official xbmc repositories. Or am I wrong with my assumption here?  If that is allowed, can be compiled if you know for which version. You can get information about this from the second line of kodi.log.

I don't have access to PC now that's why I am unable to build it from scratch

And where is your kodi.log?

And where is your kodi.log?

I currently don't have it
My tv is LG C3 OLED with latest version of WebOS

Is that enough?
If not I'll share once I get access to my TV

Hello everyone, I have webos version 4.9.7-15, but I can't play videos, despite using today's master (that should have acb merged). Kodi is crashing upon launching videos. Here is the log file: https://paste.kodi.tv/sarotebahe.kodi

@k.gg: The debug log is unfortunately not very helpful here. If you can get a stacktrace, that would be great. Usually, core dumps are created in the kodi install directory.

Hi
thanks but are those builds supported by OLED B9 versions ?
The last test I made last week gave a black screen
I was given a specific version version that works but no more available now
thanks

I'm building inputstream.adaptive myself.

I need to follow this guide (https://github.com/xbmc/inputstream.adap...w-to-build) exactly or do I need to do
something differently for building it for LG C3 TV?

Kodi Log
Starting Kodi (21.0-ALPHA3 (20.90.301) Git:20231003-35680593a2). Platform: webOS ARM 32-bit
Using Release Kodi x32
Kodi compiled 2023-10-03 by GCC 12.2.0 for webOS ARM 32-bit version 3.10.19 (199187)
Running on webOS TV 8.2.0, kernel: Linux ARM 64-bit version 5.4.96-302

Please guide me as I'm complete noob in this department

Follow this guide. It has a section in the end how to build specific binary addons

Edit: Keep in mind ISA can only work on non-encrypted streams for now
