I downloaded the Multi-Mod zip file and copied to USB thumb drive. Plugged USB into rPi, booted Kodi, and selected to install Addon from zip file.

When I choose the zip file, a message appears at top of screen: "The dependency on script.artwork.helper version 0.92 could not be satisfied."

I'm a programmer, yet not a kodi expert. I tried searching for anything artwork/helper with addon from default repos with no find results. Internet searches also didn't locate anything to help install or download anything "artwork helper". I also checked the repo where I downloaded the Multi-Mod zip file - didn't see anything there.

How can I resolve this dependency?  Thanks a bunch for help pointing me in the right direction!

funny ... because when i use a search engine the first 2 results point directly to it
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=script.artwork.helper&ia=web

-> https://github.com/rmrector/script.artwork.helper

use the instructions from the first page https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=373436
the repo it tells you to install has the addon in it https://holybid.com/kodi/lattsrepo/maste...rk.helper/

Thank you for the web location. I downloaded "script.artwork.helper-master.zip" from rmrector on GitHub. The files inside the zip all have create dates of 6/‎15/‎2019.

When I attempt to add artwork-helper to kodi using this zip file a dependency message is displayed:
"The dependency on xbmc.python 2.19.0 could not be satisfied."

I'm running on raspberry pi. Doesn't Kodi 20 Nexus include python? I'm lost and feeling like a dummy.

Try installing the version from my repo...it's using python v3.0.0. The version you're trying to install from GitHub is for Kodi 18 Leia.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding...  Not sure if by "the version from my repo" you mean the Multi-Mod add-on ZIP.

I started by downloading "skin.aeonmq9.nexus.mod-1.8.9.zip" from your repo. Installing directly from that zip file displayed:
"The dependency on script.artwork.helper version 0.92 could not be satisfied."

I downloaded "script.artwork.helper-master.zip" from rmrector on GitHub. Installing from zip file displayed:
"The dependency on xbmc.python 2.19.0 could not be satisfied."

Can you spot where I went wrong? Thanks!

Can you see where I

To identify and clarify:

I used the link in your first post to download the install from here:
https://holybid.com/kodi/lattsrepo/maste...-1.8.9.zip

I downloaded on 10/29. Drilling into the zip file, the changelog.txt is dated 10/27. It indicates release date 10/29. You planned ahead!

Hope this helps.

I fingered it out with your help, and learned, too.

<wiping egg off my face> I didn't realize the purpose of "repository.lattsrepo-4.0.3.zip" file was to add your repo site to kodi.

The entire install process worked after installing that.

Thank you!

UPDATE #50 - This will update the skin to v1.9.0

Image Bug fixes
  • I fixed a problem with the audio language media flag not displaying the Atmos, DTS X or DTS Master Audio flags when the proper extensions were in the filename. Thanks to JanM201 for finding the bug!
You must use the following extensions to display the desired flags...
    Atmos for Channel 1 = .atmos1, .atmos1., .atmos1-
    Atmos for Channel 2 = .atmos2, .atmos2., .atmos2-
    DTS X for Channel 1 = .dts-x1., .dts.x1., .dtsx1., .dts-x1-, .dts.x1-, .dtsx1-
    DTS X for Channel 2 = .dts-x2., .dts.x2., .dtsx2., .dts-x2-, .dts.x2-, .dtsx2-
    DTS Master Audio for Channel 1 = .dtsma1, .dtsma1.
    DTS Master Audio for Channel 2 = .dtsma2, .dtsma2.

  • The Information Bar for Sets was displaying "Episodes" for the total Movies in Sets.
  • I noticed in the streamdetails table of my video database that there were a few audiocodecs listed as "aac lc" and "aac lc sbr". I added two new flags with those names to the audiocodec images.

ImageMaintenance
  • I added the header color to the Album, Year, Genre and BPM in style4 of music viz. Thanks to defleppard73 for the idea!
  • I added the header color, Artist and separators to the sub info for Songs in View Type-01 & 18. Thanks to defleppard73 for the idea!

I'm enjoying version 1.8.9, downloaded from lattsrepo, and having a problem locating some of the visual options in this post for Music.

Using "style3d" as an example of a missing view type:
I cannot see the newer view types from the osd "view type" drop down - only seeing TYPE-01, 11, 18, 20, 22, 30, 33, and 37. Searching this thread suggested resetting theme defaults. No luck, and cutting to the chase, I've stepped back so far as to:

1) uninstall MQ 9 Multi-Mod and MQ 9, too.
2) switch to estuary default skin
3) reboot
4) install MQ 9 Multi-Mod from lattsrepo (not MQ 9)

I know there's something I'm not understanding, I made a mistake, or both. TIA for teaching me.

@TumblingDice
You will see a different list of view types depending on what you have selected. It looks like you were viewing Years for Music to produce that list of view types.
