Its working again! Big Grin

I installed Oxygen v2.2.2 (http://forum.oxygen.im/viewforum.php?id=7) from scratch, and now library mode works again.

XBMC 10.1 (offical release).

also not working for me.
running Miui Rom (based on gingerbread) on the Nexus One.
library doesnt show up but the remote works fine.
i had it working a while back but the settings are still all the same so no idea why it ain't working now Sad

Same problem as described, for me. Running villain-au ROM (CM 2.3.5)

The alternative xbmc remote on the market works fine. It can even download the covers. Same settings. Weird.

Logs guys, LOGS!
We can't fix the problem because noone can reproduce it. The problem isn't present on my Nexus One or freezys Nexus S or my Samsung Tab 10.1... We need input to produce output.

So pretty please with sugar on top, post logs. (Not XBMC logs, the one from your Android device)

I was trying to work out how to find the logs, where are they? Could the app have a "view log" button?

I'll find them, and post them ASAP.

Viewing the log would be another permission. There are multiple apps in the market to view the log, so I don't think that this is needed.

See the FAQ on how to get the log.

ok guys here is a logcat of stuff going wrong.
here what i did:
started app
clicked on connect (nothing happened)
used as remote control (worked)
tried to download movie covers

now the movie covers download actually worked for the first time!! it started transferring and went all the way to the end (540 covers) but then it said that 0 covers were downloaded. very strange.
the log this put out is so long, that the beginning is missing oO

i thought of something else that maybe could be causing the problems. i have all my apps on my sd card using apps2sd (not the built in froyo/gingerbread one but a custom one using an ext partition to store both apps and their data (dalvik cache))

well the error report says its 1.6-2.2 and im running 2.3.5 :S

Now i think it isn't a problem of the Xbmc remote, i tested it with oxygen 2.2.2, cyanogenmod stable 7.0.3. and cyanogen nightly on my gsm desire, clean install, no settings imported, an it works!

With Gingervillian 2.8 clean install no settings imported ---- and! it dosn't work.

I think, it must be a problem with gingervillian in my case.
