Hello.
I am setting up my first XBMC and therefore did search around a lot on the forum but cannot find any good info/explanation of the bahavior I am seeing.
For the occasional Video showing up in a picture source (showvideos=true) there are no automatic thumbnails generated as there are for Videos under a Video Folder. I understand this may become a feature of a future version (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=85442).
As I have general trouble with the automatically generated Video Thumbnails (this is another issue), I prefer using manually created ones residing next to the Video file with a .tbn extension (as explained here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=810:Thumbnai...Thumbnails).
This works perfectly fine for Videos under a Video Folder but does not work correctly for Videos under a Pictures folder. Originally I thought it just isn't picked up at all. But then I found that, after I played one of the Videos from a Pictures Folder, after having completed, all of a sudden my .tbn thumbnail does show, with the video-watched check-mark

Sadly enough, once I navigate away and then back into that folder, the custom .tbn thumbnail (and the video-watched check-mark) is gone again

What am I doing wrong here?
My custom .tbn is of .png format and I do useddsfanart=true. But I tried .jpg and useddsfanart=false but that didn't change anything.
