I've got a fairly large library for my ATV2's to scan. I noticed a lot of times the update scanner was breaking, and even folders on my network that had folder.jpg & fanart.jpg in them weren't displaying properly.
When I ssh'd in and ran df I found the partition was completely full. I've since seen tips to remove the "generate thumbnails", which I suppose will help somewhat in the future.
What I'm wondering is does xbmc copy found .tbn, folder.jpg & fanart.jpg's from my fileservers, or does it only download those when scraping? Any ideas for moving the storage of these files from the ATV2 to the parent fileserver? I'd be fine with an external cache of these files, or having the .tbn files stored on the original fileserver instead of the ATV2.
