[WINDOWS] First HTPC build

Is this a good setup for a HTPC which will also be used to download from Usenet @120Mbit and Rar/Par stuff to the 5.5TB External Storage (USB)? (Win7 X64)

Fractal Design ARRAY R2 MINI ITX NAS CASE W/ 300W SFX PSU € 159,53
Intel Core i3 2100T € 96,92
Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5" 64GB € 103,-
Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/4GX 4GB Kit € 41,99
Asus ENGT520 SILENT/DI/1GD3(LP) € 48,75
Asrock H67M-ITX/HT € 101,-
Total € 551,19

Do I need another cooler, instead of the standard one? I added the GT520 because of the 24p Intel problem and because of the macroblocking SandyBridge.

(Your PSU could be under rated)

The case is, but I like the looks and the possibility to make it a large collection HTPC. Big Grin

Why would the PSU be underrated? It is 300W. CPU does 35W max, GPU will be around 30W. That leaves 240W for Memory, Mainboard, SSD and up to 6 HDD's in the future. That should suffice I think?

Filled it in. Including 3 SATA drives in the future, it draw 204W according the Calculator. This is with the 2100 CPU and not the 2100T. I changed out the CPU because the Non-T is a lot faster, same price and the TDP is 65W. Added the Big Shuriken cooler to keep it cool in this small case.

This should not be a problem for a 300W PSU.

Ordered the set today, without the videocard. Gonna build the set first, test it, and see if the 24p bug is bugging me. If yes, I can still buy the videocard, if no, then I don't need it! Laugh

Can't wait to get my hands on it! (Have to wait for my Ipad 2 also Sad)
