So I had this problem for a long time. The reason it has not bothered me too much is because it is only when I have downloaded a WWE PPV.

Like I said in the title, it works fine on other platforms. Back in the days ( don't what version I was running ) xbmc live crashed totally, and the sound wouldn't come back. And only on these WWE PPV.

The one I have problems with is WWE Extreme rules

I'm no expert on reading the debug log, but it seems to fail on alsa.
Does the file play in other players?

Maybe updating alsa drivers might help.
