Hello,

After much debate i think i settled to what i will buy for my build. I currently have a revo 1600 and am not happy with it! So i decided to have a super speedy a la Eskro build! Even though i will not be using it for other than XBMC. But who knows i might use it for other purposes later on...

As of now i just want super fast HTPC that will run AEON MQ 2 1080 P Flawlessly and i want it to be relatively quiet. Also i want it to be future proof, hence the 430 GPU. Not sure if i will have 3D in the future. I also want to Bitstream audio to my HD Receiver ( Onkyo 708). Question tho, this is not possible through XBMC yet right?

This is what i ahve up to now:

[MOBO] GIGABYTE GA-880GM-UD2H AM3
[CPU] AMD Athlon II X3 450 Rana 3.2GHz
[GPU] ZOTAC GT 430 1GB 128-bit DDR3 Ready Low Profile
[CASE] LIAN LI PC-V351B Black Aluminum MicroATX
[PSU] Antec EarthWatts 380W ATX12V ($40 + $0)
[RAM] DDR3 1333 MHz Kingston Value 2GB
[SSD] Corsair Nova CSSD-V32GB2-BRKT 2.5" 32GB SATA II

The motherboard is more than what i need but i cant find the one Eskro recommends here in Brazil. Do you guys think it is an ok board tho?

Also the RAM for some dumb reason is super hard to find in two 1 GB modules... As of now i will keep this 2GB value ram but i might look more for 4 GB if its not much more expensive...

mobo is good, but expensive.... no other choices?

same for CPU,,,
an Athlon X2 is more than enough,,,,
and you would save money...

if you need bitstream HD-audio and not 3D,
you can get a Radeon HD5450 video card..
you would save money...

case expensive,,, good, but pricey... no other choices?
