I have Ubuntu 10.10 on a Zotac Ion MB. My movies are stored on an external hard drve which is connected via USB to my HTPC.
I scraped all the movies but cannt get any to play. When I click on the movie I want to watch nothing happens. If I press pause I can see that the movie is playing but I have not sound or picture and it never leaves the fan art page.
My music works perfectly but that is stored on the internal hard drive.
The external HD is formated to NFTS and all movies are ripped by MakeMV from SD DVD's.
