For translate :

1 : Copy the english folder ( xbmc10-b1 -> language ) , Rename this with your language ; for example German
2 : go into the new folder
3 : Rename English.php in -> for example German.php -> edit the file and add your words , ATTENTION : use the Special Characters for the è ò à
4 : Rename English.png in -> for example German.png -> edit the file and add your flag
5 : edit the chiudi.png , and add your word

6 : Send my your work for add at the skin !!

If folder's name is German the name file .php and .png are German.php German.png too .

How to install?

1 : install a web server

on mac osx use : mamp

download , unzip and copy in web folder my xbcm skin

on windows use : Xamp

download , unzip and copy in web folder my xbcm skin

on linux :

apt-get install update
apt-get install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5
apt-get install php5-gd

cd /var/www
sudo wget http://xbmc-web-skin-confluence-theme.googlecode.com/files/xbmc10-beta1.1.zip
sudo unzip xbmc10-beta1.1.zip

sudo chmod -R 777 xbmc10-b1/

2 : open browser to your ip when you have installed the web server

localhost:80
192.168.2.2:80

80 is the default port of web server

3 : the default language is english , go to setting host and change with the ip of your xbmc pc .
3.1 : go in xbmc , system , network , enable control of XBMC via HTTP .

Yes I have a full library, nightly builds are versions of XBMC that were released after the last official build (Dharma 10.1) a simplier way to explain it would be: those are early builds (developpement builds) of the next version of XBMC.

it is using a new database (not compatible with the database of dharma)

you can grab them there http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/

but if you do make sure to backup your database because if you want to go back to dharma your database won't work anymore.


making sure that your web control works with those builds would ensure that it works with the next version of XBMC (Eden)

In this moment i'm not at home .. I'm at my home and here i don't have pc and internet conection .. When arive at home i tested the new xbmc and if is possibol i fix bug with the new database .. If comand of json rpc are different , the fix is hard becouse for have the info with web want rewrite the skin for read the sqlite database ..

I can't connect to xbmc. Maybe I downloaded the wrong version, but it says that it can't connect to localhost:8080. Thats to be expected because my host is set up to be at 192.168.2.100:8000.
I changed this in the setup (and tried host_settings.php) but I'm still not able to connect.
