Is it possible to automatically change the audio out option dependant on the 'section'.
I have my Ubuntu Box under the stairs with XBMC on connected to my TV via HDMI and everything is just fine for audio and video.
I also have a stereo connected to the Ubuntu box via a normal 3.5mm jack from the sound card but the stereo is in the dining room.
I would like to be able to play video (and it's audio) through the HDMI as it is now, but if I select a music track, the audio to be routed through the stereo. Then I can just turn off the TV and keep music playing.
I guess I could manualy shange the settings each time but it would be much easier if there was an automatic way to switch.
