I have two EEE 701's being used as XBMC boxes running 10.10.

Both using the maplin remote, This works fine on the one box and did work fine for ages on the other.

Now only on one of them, the remote takes ages to respond if the unit has been in standby (by standby I mean the mode when the XBMC display is still there but goes dim) not an actual power down standby as the units are on all the time.

I can wake it up with the keyboard and use XMBC and after a couple of minutes the remote starts working again.

I'm assuming theres some kind of update rolled out on ubuntu that has perhaps stuffed this.

The other unit still works fine.

Has anyone seen this before or can give me a clue?
