What is the fastest solution about the set up time? (From the moment of switch on to the moment of the XMBC welcome screen.)

The xbmc live (installed to USB stick) is fastest or the ubuntu+XBMC linux version?

In my case the xmbc live in usb stick need aproxx 2 minutes to set up. I think this is too much.

I say xbmc live would be faster than xbmc + Ubuntu as xbmc live loads alot less on startup. Have you tried suspend resume? From power on to using xbmc is only a few seconds.
