keith, love your work. Long time user who figures I should finally help you guys out.
- Platform: ATV2
- Version of iOS: 4.2.2 (2203)
- Build: XBMC PRE-11.0 Git:20110620-86ff92 (Compiled: Jun 20 2011)
- Installed: dpkg -i atv2 pakage from here http://hadm.net/xbmc/ae/
- Network: WiFi-N only
- Receiver: Sony MUTEKI htddw7000 Home Theatre System
- Connection: HDMI audio, AC3/DTS selected (16bit iOS Audio also selected)
The Bad:
No GUI sounds, deleted guisettings.xml file. GUI sounds now work
- NB: Should be an easy fix... Took me a bit of time getting my settings back in the way I like
Addons disabled / broken
- Skins: Hitchers-Alaska Revisited, XBMC-Back Row and Simplicity (Broken Dependencies)
- TV/Movie Info: TheMovieDB, TheTVDB (Enable button greyed out)
- Most (all?) addons have no radio buttons to configure
-- I tried force refresh on XBMC.org and Hitchers repo, both did not fix issues.
-- I also noticed python wasn't installed on ATV2. As a long shot, I apt-get installed this, restarted, refreshed, still no joy.
I know this isnt the area, but any help with add-ons would be appreciated!
The Good:
Great sound in playback. AV Receiver displaying DTS 3/2.1 and the blue 'DTS light'
Possibly using less CPU (Usually sits around 3.5 - 4.0, seems to be sitting around 3.0 - 3.5 now)
