Hi,

The project is not dead but I have not touched for the past week.

I've fallen behind and completely messed my code because I try to consider all cases of figures for the organization of movies (one movie by folder or severals movies in a single folder => the behavior of the scraper is not the same). I also will manage DVD rip and Blue Ray rip.

For now, I focus mainly on the management of movies and has not worked too much on the management of the tv shows.

I said the project is not dead, but I realize it is far from being available at the moment because I developed on my spare time and there are a lot of thinks to do...

Can you please provide a status with your project ?
Is it still ongoing?

You could also consider to put the code you have now online and maybe other php-devs will work on things also in forks and send you code you could benefit from. It could speed up development. Just tag it with something like: pre-alpha! expect bugs to happen, so people will know it is in a very early stage of development.

A good community-build-php-example that was online in a very early stage is spotweb:
https://github.com/spotweb/spotweb

Here is a movie of it and see how fast development went when other dev's joined:

Is there any more news about the project ?
I was intending to code a similar application with CodeIgniter, till I found this post. I don't want to reinvent the wheel so I'm willing to contribute in the development ;-)

If the original author is not able to continue his project (for whatever reason), perhaps he can be so kind to donate the current script(s) to the community, so other people can give it a try.

Or perhaps we should have a look at another XBMC webmanager. I haven't tried it out yet, but it looks to be a good alternative: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=60643

Too bad it's dead.. Maybe anyone else wonna give it a try ?
I have started moreless the same project, but even I have little time to spend.
Does anyone else has some interesting code to share that might be usefull ?

If I have enough coding to be interesting, I'll let you guys know.

Hi guys,

I've been working on a similar project. Remember, it's in a very early stage !!
The content comes straight from the XBMC library database (MySQL).
This database and thumbnails are stored on my Synology.

For now I have a template, get the top rated movies on my homepage and I can retrieve a list with pagination and alphabet filtering.
I also can "set" any movie as watched / unwatched.

There is still a ton of work to do ... but these are the early steps.

PS: My XBMC-library is in Dutch ;-)
