Override automatic media flagging
#1
Is there a way to over ride the automatic media flagging; to force reading from an nfo or xml?

I have a CIH set up and all My Blu-Ray Movies tell me 1.78:1. I know its technically correct but I use the information to change aspects with my lens and activate scaling. In mediabrowser it displays whats in the xml so they are tagged accurately to the aspect of the film, not the aspect based on the video frame size. Very handy for me

It also does not show DTS-HD for any audio in my BD rips.

Thanks

You need to be running a version of xbmc newer than Dharma for it to even be able to detect DTS-HD.

Also, yes, you can override the settings using an nfo file, export an nfo and then take a look under the streamdetails section where you can edit things like aspect ratio. It will then show the overridden aspect ratio, however when you are actively playing that file and bring up the info details it will NOT show the overriden aspect ratio from the nfo file.

I tried the info in the XML, maybe formatted it wrong. Is there a list some where of the tags i need to use? I will be using an external player (tmt5) so the info is not a concern at this point.

Which versions will show DTs-HD

Thanks, I see the example code for TV series and some tags. is there a specific list of text that confluence or XBMC core looks for for each type of codec, aspect ratio, etc...?
