[WINDOWS] Renaming multiple files & adding them to TV Shows Library
#1
I'm pretty new here and I've searched high and low and can't find a solution. I have a lot of TV shows that I'm trying to add to the library and I'm getting stuck. My filenames are like this:

Breaking Bad Season 1 Episode 1 <title>

When I add the source, the files do not show in the Library view. I've renamed 1 of them to the format breaking.bad.s01.e01.title and that one works. This wouldn't be a problem to manually change but I have a LOT of files to add. Is there a way to either a)rename multiple files (i've downloaded some freeware and I can rename them, but not remove the spaces) or b) have xbmc somehow work with the filenames that I already have?

Thanks in advance.

Sick beard can post process file names but not sure it'd recognise the format you have them in to start with, you could always try it out.

There are quite some ways but my tested and suggested one is BatchRenameFiles Tool for the required purpose. Thanks
