While I'm bummed out that this stopped working (My favorite plugin), I don't blame amazon. This plugin was not a legitimate\authorized way to stream content from Amazon in the first place. The irony is this was the only one of the good plugins that didn't do something 'wrong.' Both the Youtube and Hulu plugins, for example, remove the ads - which cuts the revenue from all the content curators.
But, still, XBMC was never a 'supported' device. They have grown significantly within the last few months, and their newer partners may be pushing them for DRM in order to obtain their content.
Such a shame though...I seem to use this plugin more than just about anything and that's with over 2500+ DVDs all ripped to HDs...I still liked the service as it always had stuff I hadn't seen.
I`ll probably pick up a Roku or something..everything is going digital - and set-top boxes that are authorized to stream from all these services popping up is really the best way to watch online content.
