I've searched and i keep finding threads saying "do a search".

Don't know about the particular machine, but download the latest nightly from http://sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/. In Programs - OpenELEC settings you can configure your network settings (wired and/or wireless).
If it doesn't work, post a request for the hardware to be supported in the OpenELEC Hardware Support forum.

I tried to install it to usb but it didnt work... i went for the generic one, followed instructions on the site and nada. 
( it just doesn't seem to boot from it.
