I have 2 machines and i was able to setup one the way i want and i backed up the .xbmc dir and everything seems to come up fine on the second

seemingly the only issue left is a had firefox setup...when i launvh it i get an error that its not responding....I figured i would uninstall it and install again...all the directions i found about uninstalling it just said to delete the folder but when i try and install it again it just says that it is already on the current version
i have deleted every folder/file the referenced firefox except firefox-addons because it wont allow me to

So i am hoping someone can give some direction here so i dont have to start all over lol

sudo apt-get remove --purge firefox


should remove it.

You should be able to do it via synaptic too.
