I feel like a newb with this problem, but truly cannot figure it out:
Recently noticed the 'i'/info key not working in the Movie library with any skin. It works fine in other areas of xbmc.
The keymap is correct (Global, <i>info</>, and no MyVideoLibrary overrides), and has not been touched in a while. I tried assigning a new key, temporarily removed my advancedsettings.xml and guisettings.xml, but no improvement.
A few others have this problem but posted in the skin MQ-3 thread, but it's not a skin issue. My xbmc backup using Dharma 10.1 is fine, but all the nightlies of the past few months give me this problem. I'm now on the 8/30/11 nightly.

Very odd that deleting the various settings xml files doesn't fix it but a new profile does. I will try a new profile later and report back.
No one mentioned having to reload the movie library so I hope that is the case b/c it would then reset the recently-added and unwatched flags.

Creating a new profile didn't solve the 'info' key problem. I had it create new settings but use the existing db.

UPDATE: A friend of mine is not having the movie info problem. Had him update to build 09/01/2011 & still worked fine. Determined to fix my problem, this is what I did this morning:
Updated to 9/2 build. No fix.
Fresh xbmc folder 9/2 build install, but kept my existing portable_data folder. No fix.
Fresh 9/2 build with new portable_data. Scanned just 1 of my movie drives for movies. WORKED!
Copied my myvideos##.db files to the new database folder. Broken again.
Started over again with fresh scan of my entire movie library. WORKED!
I imagine deleting & rescanning the movie library would also work, but I'm probably due for a fresh install of everything.
