DDDamian Wrote:Thanks for compiling that and making it available Patrick. I've been playing with the last work by gnif as well, compiling from his repo. Yeah, still to buggy for fullt-time use.
On my rig the most recent commits make for lot's of stuttering when playing DTS-MA, which for me at least worked great using a July 15th build by Wanilton.
Really hope gnif picks it back up again. BluRay's method works but is basically freezing everyone who uses it in time. Not my preferred method. Getting worried though that AE is gonna be a while if ever.
Oh well, my standalone player is my first choice for BD. And the latest from gnif works just fine for HD flacs, etc.
Hey 3D,
Yea I completely agree with everything mentioned in your post
I'm sure we will have a working version of this in 6 months, as it's a huge step forward to xbmc, and is most definetly required for the future development of xbmc (IMO) so it will hopefully come out sooner rather than later
Your very welcome for the build, i've set up a job to compile and upload automatically when commits are entered on gnifs page, so I'll post them in here for you guys to test out and see how they work for you etc...
Cheers,
Pat~
