This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to use txt symbols ('&#....;') like ▲ in labels, however they are not appearing correctly. Example... when using ▲ i'm getting a ' (or a similar looking) character.

It's working fine in other skins on all versions of XBMC. I'm only seeing it on my skin!

It's not font related as the same font is being used in the old version of Welo that Hitcher worked on, and the characters are fine there.

Has anyone come across this before? Am i missing something simple here?! Help!

Maybe it's related to the character encoding? Are the xml's saved at utf-8?
I'm no expert in that field, but maybe it has something to do with this?

Hey Jeroen,

I'm using Notepad++ and it's default settings. Looking at the settings, it's using ANSI encoding. I'll try switching it to UTF-8.
