Good evening all
I just installed XBMC the other night (3 days ago) and I am getting a black screen when I start it up. It switches over and nothing. I can switch to the terminal (ctrl-alt-F1) but switching back gets me the black screen o death.
I am on a Dell precision 670, dual processors running at 2.8 mhz each, 2 gig of ram and 2 80 gb drives. Video card is an ATI Radeon RV516/X1300 which is capable of dual screens, but I have not set that function up.
I am running Debian Squeeze and have installed all the drivers and 2d/3d codes - and yes, gears is running right!
Any clues or tips on what I can do?
