Ember Media Manager question about multiple files for one movie
#1
I know this isn't the Ember forum, but I'm pretty sure that there isn't an official forum any more for the software.

Does anyone know how to make Ember handle multiple file name movies appropriately? For example, Lord of the Rings Extended Editions have 2 discs for each. Can I make Ember treat them as one movie? It seems complicated when I run the "Bulk renamer" because the second files never get renamed.

Also, what is a good naming scheme for movies with multiple files that XBMC will be able to pick up on?

Yes Ember can handle them. Works the same for xbmc. Add this to the filename:
-part1
-part2

Or

-cd1
-cd2

Don't think the ' - ' needs to be there but just give it a try with one movie.

Firstly:

Second: On old dvdrips, the files were named Blahblahblah.CD1.avi and Blahblahblah.CD2.avi

That seemed to work ok, and Ember did not confuse them.
