I tried that. It will connect and get EPG data just fine as well. My next step is to reboot, but that's a lengthy process as my linux server does a ton of stuff
I just fixed it on my system
I did two things:
1. It seems there's a bug in latest Mythbuntu, so every time you update (through Ubuntu Update Manager for example), MySQL access get's disabled for the Ethernet interfaces. Just enable access again in the Mythbuntu Control Centre.
2. I rebooted my Mythbuntu backend (easy for me, because I run it as a virtual machine in Parallels 8).
