My brother installed XMBC on my Apple tv2
but that is where it ends
i want to ad more "add ons" but not to sure how to

Well, I don't know if there is anyone near you that can come around and help you navigate the software, but there is a tonne of info online in the wiki and these forums that can help you.

First, you need to think about what you want to do. What are you trying to setup?
