I run XBMC on my usual Desktop machine.

When quitting XBMX, I'm presented with options for 'Exit', etc -- INCLUDING options for Shutdown, etc.

Is there a way to NOT offer anything other than just 'Exit'? I never want the XBMC user to be able to shutdown the machine, rather just exit the App.

Some skins support editing this menu in their skin settings.

With the Confluence skin you'd need to edit the skin XML files.

However you can specify the "Shutdown" action in System settings, System, Power saving. If you set the "Shutdown function" to "Quit" then if the user selects Shutdown it will just exit XBMC and not shut down the system. That does leave the Suspend and Reboot options present, though since they're not the default the user is unlikey to select these by accident.
