Ubuntu XBMC Autostart LCD Scaling Issue
#1
Hello Everyone,

I spent this past weekend building my HTPC using a Zotac Zbox ID41, Ubuntu 11.04 and XBMC. My Home theater setup uses an Onkyo SR-507 receiver and BenQ Projector. I had display issues on the projector (horrid picture) due to LCD Scaling being enabled by default on the Nvidia control panel but was able to resolve this issue by deselecting Full GPU scaling. My XBMC and Ubuntu desktop look great. My issue comes when I set XMBC to autostart. The display looks as it did prior to me deselecting the LCD scaling option in the Nvidia Control Panel. I want to run this in XBMC autorun mode but it looks like it does not pick up the options I set in the Nvidia control panel. I am assuming this is because these tweaks are passed into my xorg.conf file which XBMC does not use or read during autostart. Is there any option or method to disable the LCD scaling option during XBMC autorun? I want the display to look as good as it does when I am in my Ubuntu Desktop. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance.
