The title says it all. I cannot see any media. I have over 100 files with different versions (avi, mp4, xvid, divx, etc) and after I added my shares for my windows 7 PC on APT2 XBMC I see no files to play. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Are you at the point where you are just adding a video source? If so, in that screen it is normal to not see any files. Simply be in the folder you want to add and select okay.

Yes the video sources is where I am. Where do I need to go to watch my videos? They're not under files.

You first add a video source. After you press okay it will ask you what kind of media is in the folder (movies, TV shows) incase you want to download cover art, summaries, etc. It will either scan or you can just hit cancel and then you should see this new source you just added under files.

NOOOB MISTAKE!!! Thanks. I wasn't actually clicking "OK" but assuming after I added the share it would be there. Thanks for your help, I am now watching movies!
