ok here is the idea : how feasable would it be to develop/port xbmc to a device such as a portable hdd media player that you can use in your home theater, car... etc.

you could limit the finctions to video/audio/pictures.

just transfer the files from your comp. to the machine and carry it around to plug on tvs. i know such device already exist (there are actually 3 different devices but very hard to find and to be honest the interface are not as good as xbmc.

any thoughts?

probably not that easy though, we rely pretty heavily on the xdk and xbox hardware
