This is what I have

I did not find the core file in the home dir.

This is a T61 with NVS 140m video card.

I did this after fresh install of Linux Mint 11.

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa

edit to maverick from natty

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc xorg
sudo apt-cache search nvidia | grep glx
sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-185 nvidia-settings mesa-utils libvdpau-dev


sudo nvidia-xconfig -s --no-logo --force-generate --output-xconfig=/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Reboot and started xbmc. The panic happened in youtube video.

I did saw a script failure when start the youtube plugin but ignore it when ahead playing some video.
