I have Ion330 based pc and I have problem with audio output. My xbmc setup is analog output to 5.1.
When I'm playing movie, sound goes out via analog output 5.1 as I want, but when I am playing music sound goes out via hdmi.
I don't understand why, I want in both situations analog output 5.1.
My .asoundrc file is empty and in asound.conf I have :

pcm.!default {
type plug
slave {
pcm "hdmi"
}
}

to have sound from HDMI during navigation in main menu.

One additional information :

when .asoundrc and asound.conf is empty, then playback of the movies and music is ok ( from analog ), but I don't have sound from HDMI during menu navigation.
