Disable autostart after a Fedora install?
#1
I'm using Fedora Linux v14 and after I install xbmc as:

'sudo yum install xbmc'

then it will autostart whenever I reboot. (Yum is installing xbmc-10.1.1.fc14.i686.) I haven't figured out what is calling it or how to disable it. There aren't any scripts in /etc/init.d, I don't see anything in grub, there's nothing in my .bash* and I don't have a .xinitrc. In the end, I have been editing my grub startup to boot into command line mode, uninstalling xbmc, rebooting and then re-installing. I'm sure there has to be a better way.

Can anyone tell me how to disable autostart or even suggest other places to look?

I figured out one way to solve this: delete /usr/share/xsessions/XBMC.desktop

Super frustrating.
