Amd e350 Deinterlacing

Hi.
My configuration is:
Motherboard: MSI E350IA-E45
OS: Ubuntu 11.10
xbmc-dharma-pvr from ppa:alexandr-surkov/dharma-pvr
HTS Tvheadend 2.13~git20111031.0664329-ppa1~oneiric
ati drivers (11.10)
vaapi - ON
vdpau - OFF

Is it possible tu use Deinterlace for playing back TV channels? How to enable it?

Currently it is not possible. I am working on support for XvBA and the driver crashes when trying to do de-interlacing. Investigating ....

OK.
Please post latest info in this Thread.
I had to erase my Ubuntu install and set up a windows 7 machine.
It was not really good iea. But whis is the only way i can whach TV without any problems.

Thanks, I'm following too then.

Noticed that a working deinterlacer looks noticeably better (Deinterlace On, Filter: Deinterlace) when watching TV (576i DVB-S), but there is some kind of stutter every second then. Guess this is done in CPU?

(Using Opdenkamp/XVDR git on E-350 VAAPI)
