[Mini-ITX] A6-3500 (3x2.1Ghz/2.4Ghz) + HD6530D
I'd go with a 120W to be on the safe side. Thhat would be enough. My HTPC consume about 85W under full CPU+GPU load. But I don't have a ODD and only one 2.5" HDD.

Good build! I love mine.

My advice though is to disable most GPU settings inside AMD configurator (Catalyst center, or something named similarly). Otherwise you have skin that are too red imho.

The a6 3500 is really light on power draw. My system - a6 3500, 2x 2tb hdds, 64gb ssd drive, < 95w at the wall under full load. 120w picopsu is more than adequate.

However, if you're considering eventually getting a 100w processor instead of the 65w a6, a larger psu provides room for that.

I find you're MUCH better off going with a picopsu regardless. The layout of this case leads to poor cooling at best. It's serviceable, but heat can become an issue. The moment I ripped the built in psu out, though? Ice cold inside, all the time.

Since then, I installed a Scythe Samurai Rev B, and with that even under full load (furmark, prime 95, etc) the fan never spins up past 40%. It's very quiet., particularly when you consider the psu fan is entirely gone too.

Incidentally, this system can also handle Play station emulating, and if you overclock it it can render your PS1 games at 1080p. Not upscale them, either, actually run at that resolution. It's amazing Smile

Balinus and Wintersdark, thanks for the helpful responses! I think I'll go with the 150w pico. From what I understand, Blu-ray drives can take quite a bit of power at peak (~25W), so I'd be cutting it rather close with the 120w. It wouldn't hurt to have some room for a future 100w proc, too.

Nice to know about the PS1 games, too. That sounds like fun...

Wink Someone will help you.... please allow some time... sometimes it can take a few days or less.

But here is a case... it's new and it might do the job. But there is the ISK 110 from antec too and your cooler fits and you can mount it.... there is a thread somewhere here but I can't locate it. Oh wait here it is...
