Hello, i have installed xbmc live on my laptop, an HP Pavilion.
geforce m230.

And my problem is that i can't get my TV which is connected via HDMI to show anything.

i am very new to linux and xbmc and was hoping for a quick fix.

i have already configured the audio and everything else, juuust the picture left.

Not easy to answer this without sitting in front of your Laptop.

Make sure that your Tv is already connected when you start your Laptop. After that check if you can switch the output in xbmc to your TV.

There's two things you can try. There should be a Fn key to switch monitors. Hit the Fn then look for an icon of a monitor on one of the function keys. The other thing is to go into your Nvidia control panel and see if you're setup for a second monitor. You may need to adjust the refresh rate to something your TV supports.
