I recently switched to the latest version of Sam's image using his nice build application and since then I've had intermittent problems retaining an IP address. This finally seemed terminal yesterday when the IP had been dropped and didn't come back after several reboots.
Removing the USB drive with the image on and going back to the ATV1 hard drive and the IP is immediately back, suggesting an issue with the image rather than the hardware.
Has anyone else seen this? In the past I've rebuilt the USB key and it's fine for over a week, when randomly the problem returns.
