Is it possible for add-ons to use the DialogProgress and users can still navigate through xbmc?
Now it locks navigation until the add-on is finished.

So I would like the same behaviour as the library update progress dialogs.

There is a script module called Dialog Addon Scan(written for Dharma, shouldn't take much to update to Eden) that creates a dual line progress bar. I'm not sure if it allows control signals to pass through to XBMC or not, but it probably can be modified to.
