Creating my own repository
#1
Hi all,

I've been trying to create my own repository for my add-ons hosted in the GitHub. When I create the repository for the first time "addon.repository" type linking to my account in GitHub, I can see the test scripts I've uploaded in the first place and I can even download them.

The problem comes when I change the version of one of them, y run the addons_xml_generator.py, commit the changes and push it to the gitGub.

My goal is for XBMC to detect that there's been an update on one of the plugins. However, it is not that this is not detected but even if I try to download a script, it won't work.

Has this happened before to anyone? Any kind help would be very much appreciated Smile.

Thanks in advance

you do have the hash of addons.xml in place? that's necessary for update detection.
