I installed xbmc on my atv2 and now i need help with connecting my files on my computer to xbmc. I'm new to the mac so I don't know exactly how to go about this. Please help.

I followed those steps but it seems like my xbmc isn't seeing my mac. When i try to add a network location, it says Error 2 : sharing not available. Sharing is checked on my mac and i checked SMB. My IP is different on my mac then my computer but when i got to my computer options on atv it works fine. I dont know any other steps to take. Do i need to reboot or something. Uninstall and then reinstall xbmc?

I really need help on this. I've tried everything i've seen online. I'm running lion. Is that the problem?

You'll need to use AFP instead. It seems from another thread that you've tried this and it didn't work. Can you try again and upload a debug log from that? http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...og_for_iOS
