Hi Tolriq,
I installed a DVB-T USB dongle recently, everything is working fine under Kodi 16.1 (channels, EPG, timeshifting, recording, ...).
BUT
I can't find PVR icon in Yatse's top menu, neither in left menu.
I tried enabling/disabling it in Yatse parameters, sadly it didn't change anything.
How can I get Yatse to "detect" I now have PVR enabled in Kodi, and then display that icon ? (is it related in any way ? I'm not even sure)
Maybe I need to clear application cache ?

Icon is hidden if you are not connected to your host, a big message should shows under it's name.
Or if you have hidden it in settings

Ok, so it only appears when I'm connected to host, like "Files/playlists" or "Addons"...
I will double-check that as soon as I'm back home

Since it was asked a few times and I now have a Nvidia shield, here's https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...otestarter
This is still labelled as Beta as not enough feedback on all possible Android boxes, but is 100% tested and working on NVIDIA Shield TV.
It allows to remotely start Kodi, bring Kodi to front, exit standby mode (tested on shield) on your Android TV boxes, and any Android boxes that are 100% power connected.
Support by default Kodi official / SPMC, but any custom builds are supported (Just enter the full application package name in settings).
Do not try and install on phones / tablets

From media on your phone, you can't for the moment.
You'll never be able to stream them to Kodi as there's no API, for Chromecast it's on the TODO list.
